About David Yarnall

I grew up in a small town in Michigan, the eighth child of ten – twelve of us including my dad and mom. No, we weren’t Mormon, Catholic or Irish. My dad was an orphan, and he just wanted a big family. 

Attending church since birth, I was deeply influenced by the values and teachings that shaped my upbringing. It was during my college years that I discovered a passion for writing, which led me to pen my first novel, "Punitor." This story follows an ordinary man who is thrust into a dark alter ego life, facing life-altering decisions that test his moral compass. Punitor - Kindle edition by Yarnall, David

In addition to writing, I am a professional photographer, capturing moments that tell their own unique stories (the above photo is a self-portrait). In 2018 - having raised our four daughters to adulthood, my wife, Tamara, and I made the decision to adopt a young boy. He became an avid reader. 

The inspiration for the Liam Valgt series came from my desire to provide my son with wholesome action and adventure books that align with our Christian values. Seeing the limited options available, I decided to create a series that not only entertains but also empowers and inspires Christian teens and young adults through engaging and relatable storytelling.
